Latest Updates from Our Project:

July: Pacing Update!
17 days ago – Sun, Jul 26, 2026 at 09:05:38 PM

Greetings All!

It’s been a solid progress month, updates on current pacing below.

TL;DR: New deck files are available. Additional releases dates are below.

Digital Files - Decks:

The final printer files have been updated for both the Printable & Large Format deck files for Deck 1-5 & Decks 6-7. These files are now available through Backerkit Digital Downloads.

These include several minor updates to art, formatting, icons, and positioning, and now represent the production files.

Deck 8 & 9 require a few additional prep changes and will be available tomorrow after implementation. I simply ran out of time while processing this today’s update, but I will upload ASAP.

Deck 10 requires larger implementation changes and will be following shortly after processing the files for the printer is priority, they share a deadline cap with book files.

These represent the locked production version of the cards that have been sent to the printer. Any future changes to these decks will be digital-only and will most likely be limited to infographic tweaks on the introduction.

The Pinned Comment will be updated when Decks 8-9 & 10 are processed.

Digital Files - Book:

As always, this has the most moving parts. Several errors have been identified, and I’m diving back into the files once again. Numerous tweaks and changes are underway with an update after a quality review.

The plan is to deliver the updated files to the printer by August 10th. Backers will be getting render files close to the same day. Though I would like to piecemeal out sections beforehand.

VTT Progression:

Final Files have now been handed over for VTT processing on 2 of 4 platforms. The final platforms should receive its files within 2 weeks after the remaining prep changes are completed.

I'll share additional progress updates as each platform ingests the files. Once each investor completes their reviews, we’ll have a more accurate release timelines to share.

Additional Release - Further Info:

Please check the pinned comment below for smaller release updates, file cadence and confirmations as the additional files become available via Backerkit.

For example, there will be a pinned comment for when Deck 8 & 9 go live tomorrow.

Mid - June Update: Final Timeline
2 months ago – Fri, Jun 12, 2026 at 10:18:57 AM

Greetings All!

Back with a Mid-June update. I wanted to apologize first for the silence. I had to take some time.

Update:

Almost immediately after the March update, I was knocked down by sickness again, shocking I know. For those keeping track that was a major bout of sickness close to every 3 weeks. Those bouts of illness kept throwing off timelines, and pushing through it was getting harder and harder with longer recovery times. Long story short, I needed to sort some things out.

Stress has always been hard for me, and compounded by unhealthy habits I had to make a change. Since recovering in March, I started sleeping more than 4 hours a day consistently, for the first time in over 4 years, and adjusted my lifestyle to a healthier pace.

The changes have been dramatic, and in no uncertain terms life changing. They have also led to me purposefully disconnecting more to keep from falling back into those old habits. This isn’t an excuse, just a coping mechanism to help me manage the end of the project which is well in sight. While sleeping more has led to working less, development has never stopped.

Final Timeline:

The following are grouped by month over specific dates.

July:

  • Delivery of Final Digital Files
  • Ingestion for VTT

August:

  • Print Production

September / October:

  • Print Production Concludes
  • Packaging & Staging
  • Sea Freight
  • Lock Addresses
  • Shipping Charges
  • Fulfillment Centers: Arrival & Sorting

November:

  • Fulfillment Shipping to You
  • VTT Deliverables Begin

December:

  • Wrapping Final Shipments
  • Post Campaign Deliverables

All in All:

I’ve been quiet and will likely continue to be so with minor updates as things move through production. I wish I was farther ahead but making sure I’m here to finish is more important. The timeline is final, and has a cushion built in to accommodate the life changes.

Be Safe, and Keep Playing!

PS:

On a personal note, please take care of yourselves.
It’s easy to lose the thread sometimes. Pushing because you can only see the negative or fear of letting people down, only gets so far. Small steps are better than no steps at all.

Mid-March Update
5 months ago – Tue, Mar 17, 2026 at 01:39:04 AM

Greetings All!

Back with a Mid-March update! Apologies for the odd hour, the end of February was a rough one and I’ve been catching back up. I had been shuffling through a fever for a few weeks there. On the days it was lower I was still able to work in a reduced capacity and this week was a fire drill catch up.

Decks:
The latest samples flagged a number of small but wide scope changes - which I plowed through last week and this weekend.

  • Text ‘Squish’ Reduction
  • Spacing Issue (Border & Text Proximity)
  • Minor Icon Swapping (Muddled)
  • Minor Effect Name Scaling (Sub Items)

Those files are now back out for the final PPC (Print Production Copy) with any flagged changes being carried over to the book this week. These changes all in all affected roughly 366 rears cards, with a much heavier slant towards the later decks.

This week all of those changes will be re-uploaded to reflect those final changes on the Digital side.

Book:
The fever cost me on my drawing schedule, I owe the remaining full illustration items, and a handful of smaller illustrations to wrap the book for PPC. I was managing about 1.5 a day, before the fever and the deck correction turn-arounds, so I’m hoping to wrap them in early April to keep chasing the production dates.

Fingers crossed but I’ve been making some good progress now that I can focus again. New file uploads coming shortly for 2.06 once I get the decks fully rendered for upload.

Production Timeline:
Late night conversations with Production have been fruitful.

They are humming along with packaging and odds and ends while I prep wrapping the Deck Samples and prepping the Final Book Layout.

Dice Issues:
Hoping for a positive update after the next sampling, the last post CNY Batch was botched in the molding process. They are trying again for a new sample ASAP.

Additional Note:

Every backer  should have access to Beta PDF through Digital Downloads on Backerkit, it’s the full (minus: Add-on Only) Backer list. If you aren’t seeing the digital download available, please check the following:
- Projects > Select Project > View Order > Digital Downloads Button > Select Files

If you don’t see anything there, you are one of the remaining 160: Incomplete Surveys or Unlocked Orders.

  • Incomplete Survey: Please complete your Survey.
  • Unlocked Orders: These 48 should see that their addresses are locked today.
  • Charge Pre-Orders: These 27 won’t be charged until we pass to shipping. I try to do these task in swatches and I get nervous doing them with low sleep.

All-In-All:
Slow in some places but strides in others, it’s getting there. The progress is giving me a lot of hope for the conclusion.

Feb 2026: Micro Update & Latest PDFs
6 months ago – Tue, Feb 10, 2026 at 12:01:16 PM

Greetings All!

Back a brief update during the continual heads-down push over here. Please expect a more robust update by the end of the month.

Rolling PDF Releases:

Following the weekly releases of 2.01 through 2.03, 2.03-5 went live today and includes some additional updated renders across the sections. Following that, below is a broadcast of the next file share for later this week, expected on Thursday PM/Friday AM.

Beta 2.04:

The latest file release, this will include a Deck Update.
Items: Bulk Lift (Art Additions + Formatting)
- The additional added items/art might break the formatting. If so, this will be resolved in 2.05 next week.
The Trio: Near Final
- Scribe: Formatted Statblock + Additional info
- Possible Spread + Intro post 2.05
Bestiary: Update (Art + Blurbs)
- Finalizing blurbs/statblock placement
- Rolling updates on Art from Sketch to Lineart Render.
Optional Content: Mini Adventures 1.01 + Oddities 1.01
- This format has been fighting me,  if not prepped for public release with 2.04 it will land in 2.05 next week.
Art: Sketches / Filler Placement / Lineart
- All Remaining hours go towards developing the sketch placeholders to final art.
Decks:
- Several minor updates, including Sketches/Art + Item Details swaps across Decks 7-10.

Sampling/Production:

More news to follow post CNY. Some elements are exactly where they need to be, while some are still struggling in the process. They should even out after they return to office from the break.

TLDR; All in All:

Roughly on track, heads down to ensure it stays that way. Please feel free to check out the latest PDF shares if you are curious about progress. Each pass gets us closer to the final details of release look and print final.

As always, be safe and keep playing.

New Years Update: Updated Timeline / Production Battleplan.
7 months ago – Wed, Dec 31, 2025 at 04:33:06 PM

Greetings All!

Happy New Year, everyone! If you celebrated, I hope the holidays treated you well. The end of the year is always a little hectic, but I hope this is finding you in good spirits.

This update is meant to give a peek at the timeline heading into 2026, as well as expand on the Mid-November update and earlier timeline projections.

Book/Card - Beta:

The Beta has gone through a number of overhauls since its release on December 3rd. One of the most significant rounds of changes followed the latest print test, which helped gauge how everything reads and feels on physical pages. These changes include, but aren't limited to, the font adjustments for the Item Section and yet another reflow to account for spacing changes.

Where does that leave us for January/January Focus:

  • Art: Wrapping remaining Item & Creatures Illustration
  • Sectional Releases: Release of the remaining sections as they flow and again upon editing passes.
  • Finalize: Wrapping up final Items and Boon - Book Placement

New Files: Expect a number of new files late tomorrow: January 1st, with additional updates rolling as they are completed. These files will include Decks and Beta (+) updates.

Production/Samples:

A majority of December has been working through and catching up with the Production Partners to ensure material quality. This came with both positives and negatives. While many elements are available and off to Sampling, my delays staggered their release approvals and subsequent delivery timelines.

I’ve been double-timing efforts to get things back on track, but the samples provide critical insight into the final product, and their approval is non-negotiable. Because of this, I’m officially sliding full production (books and decks) until After CNY which means the end of February.

My goal is still to run a limited production batch for items that are ready before then, but the core elements are simply too important to rush.

Dice:

The latest round of dice several issues consistent with the previous batches. This was a setback, especially considering the turn around speed, but I am cautiously optimistic of the new direction. A new Project Manager has been brought on to help wrangle these challenges and guide the next sample set across the finish line.

Fingers crossed, and getting updates on a rolling basis to stay on track.

Updated Timeline:

The following milestones will be paired with that month’s Kickstarter Update, to both share progress, announce the next phase, and provide insight of progress along the way.

January:

  • Sample Signoff: Wrap Sampling
  • Prep Production: Outliers and Packaging (Send Files)

  • 1 Week: Pickup, Ground Shipping, Port Staging, and Loading
  • Shipments Begin: Begin Staggered Shipments (All Regions)
  • Sea Freight: 6-8 Weeks
  • Shipping Cost: Forecasted and Posted, Region/Items

  • Fulfillment Centers: Arrival & Sorting (1-2 Weeks)

  • Digital Deliveries via Backerkit
  • VTT Deliveries Begin

TL;DR

That’s the battleplan from here to the finish line. I’m hesitantly hopeful for the progress accomplished this month and the road ahead, I’ll be heads down as we push towards completion. I appreciate your patience, I am working to streamline from here forward and am forever thankful for your support.

Be Safe and Keep Playing, Happy New Year.
